Adults

For more information on the Adult Education program, please contact the Main Office at 317-546-1724.

Journey Through the Bible (meets in the Chapel, 8:30 a.m.)
This group reads and discusses various books (8-10 Lessons) that define Christian living and cause us to examine our own lives of faith.  This group becomes friends who encourage one another to travel a more ethical path of personal life in commitment to faith and welcomes everyone into their "family" of class members.  There is a lot of participation and discussion of pros and cons of Biblical interpretation.  They are just beginning a study of a portion of the Old Testament: Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon .  The study book is available from the Cokesbury Book Table in The Gathering Place on Sunday mornings.

Faith Link Class (meets in the Wesley Room, 8:45 a.m.)
This class dialogues over how to most effectively live as Christians.  We find we are too often ruled by considerations of accumulating wealth or being loyal to a political party, or wanting to find the easy way to make life decisions.  Each week the lesson is a self-contained discussion of a topic in the daily news (abortion, cloning, war, gambling, unemployment, etc.).  It does not depend on last week's discussion, so it is easy to drop in whenever you are able to attend without having missed a previous portion of any lesson.

Seekers (meets in the Conference Room, 8:45 a.m.)
This adult class has been conducting an in-depth direct study of the Bible.  They are currently in the process of beginning a new book by James W. Moore entitled, When All Else Fails, Read the Instructions .  This book is currently available at the Cokesbury Book Table in The Gathering Place on Sunday mornings.
